Janet A. Vivero is a clinical psychologist dedicated to high quality services in the area of clinical assessment parenting, relationship issues, multicultural issues, LGBTQ, life transitions, depression and anxiety, and Spanish speaking populations, children, adolescents, adults, and elderly.  Dr. Vivero is bilingual/bicultural/Spanish speaking.

Veronica (Rahni) Davies M.S., MFTI

Rahni is a registered Marriage and Family therapist Intern. She graduated in 2008 with a Masters degree in Marital and Family Therapy. She has a Bachelors Degree in Human Services with a minor in Sociology.

Rahni has been involved with Bereavement Therapy and end of life issues for over 7 years.   Rahni has been a featured speaker on the topic of grief and how to help families cope while experiencing the terminal illness of a child at the Brain Tumor Awareness Foundation, Beach Cities Health District, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Torrance Memorial Hospital.

Rahni gained experienced working with couples, families and individuals, adults, children and teens at a counseling center for transition and loss.  Rahni also spent her graduate year working at a community based mental health agency. 

Rahni’s other interest include working with parenting issues, women’s issues and creative arts therapy.

 

 

Robyn Murakami Kim was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, a melting pot of cultures and a place where family comes first.  Robyn graduated with her Master of Science degree in Counseling (Marriage & Family Therapy) from California State University, Long Beach while completing a traineeship with Shields for Families’ School-Based Mental Health Program.  She also has extensive experience working with community-based outreach programs for individuals, couples, and families. Robyn enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families (including couples), in addition to individual work with adults. Her areas of special interest include play & art therapy, dealing with trauma, pre-marriage counseling, and multicultural counseling.

 

Linus is a 2 year old pure bred Yorkshire Terrier currently in training as a therapy dog.  Linus has been a therapy pup trainee at the Artemis Center since he was about 2 months old.  At the Artemis Center, Linus has gained experience working with young children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.  Linus specializes in helping follks to feel safe, welcomed and loved in the therapeutic setting.  He is also quite skilled in consoling those going through especially tough issues such as grief and loss.  Linus pup is available upon request.
